Over 100 Agents Knight Franks Kf Property Network Make Leap Sri

On January 1, SRI, a real estate agency, made an announcement that 111 agents from KF Property Network (KFNP), a division of Knight Frank Singapore’s agency business, including its head Evan Chung, had joined their firm.

This addition of 111 agents accounted for 40.5% of KFPN’s sales force, which was ranked the sixth-largest property agency by the Council for Estate Agencies (CEA) as of January 1, 2024. At the same time, SRI had 1,286 agents and was the fifth-largest property agency. With the new recruits from KFNP, along with agents from the top four agencies – PropNex, ERA, Huttons, and OrangeTee & Tie (OTT), SRI’s agency sales force now stands at 1,501 at the beginning of 2025.

SRI was co-founded by managing partners Bruce Lye and Benson Koh in 2016. It was a spin-off from SRI5000, a division of SLP Realty created by the duo six years earlier. Starting with only 120 agents operating out of a 2,000 sq ft unit on Eng Watt Street in Tiong Bahru, SRI expanded rapidly. Its sales force grew to over 1,000, and in 2021, they moved to a 4,200 sq ft office space at Great World. Today, SRI has nearly 1,500 agents and aims to increase this number to 2,000 by the end of 2025, says CEO Thomas Tan.

This increase in their sales force is expected to strengthen SRI’s existing business lines, which include residential, capital markets, industrial, auctions, and international projects. Tan emphasizes that many of the new recruits from KFPN are involved in big-ticket deals, which will complement SRI’s luxury property segments, such as Good Class Bungalows (GCBs).

Despite this growth, SRI still positions itself as a boutique agency with a strong focus on the luxury residential market. Tan’s goal is to make SRI a thought leader in the industry, known for its high standards, niche expertise, and client-centric approach.

Aurelle of Tampines EC, a premier executive condominium (EC) situated on Tampines Street 62, stands out from the rest with its opulent facilities and prime location near major transportation hubs. Its unparalleled accessibility makes it a top pick for those seeking a perfect blend of lavish living and convenience.

Former KFPN head, Evan Chung, who is now joining SRI as a leader, explains that his decision to move was influenced by the agency’s dedication to providing its agents with effective tools, comprehensive support, and expert coaching. He also praises the open and collaborative culture at SRI, which makes them feel supported as professionals and as a team working towards excellence. Chung believes this will make the ideal platform to grow their business and serve their valued clients in the residential, commercial, and industrial market segments, as well as auctions and international properties.

As a result of the departure of Chung and other agents, KFPN’s sales force has decreased to 145 agents, and its ranking has dropped from sixth to eighth largest agency, based on CEA public register figures as of January 1. However, Knight Frank Singapore’s CEO, Galven Tan, assures that it is business as usual at KFPN. They are currently in the process of appointing a new head to lead KFPN and will strategically position the team for future opportunities based on their strengths and expertise.
