New York Development 720 West End Avenue Be Showcased Singapore Buyers

Singapore buyers will get a sneak peek at a luxurious residential development in New York during the weekend of January 11 and 12. Situated in the upscale Upper West Side neighborhood, 720 West End Avenue boasts 131 exquisite homes ranging from one to five bedrooms, including townhouses, duplexes, and penthouses with private terraces. The unit sizes are spacious, spanning from approximately 500 square feet to over 3,700 square feet. Prices for these lavish homes begin at US$1.015 million (approximately S$1.38 million) for a one-bedroom residence.

Originally built as the Hotel Marcy in 1927, the 17-story building was designed by renowned New York architect Emery Roth and features a beautiful Renaissance Revival-style façade. The developers, Glacier Equities and InterVest Capital Partners, have meticulously preserved the façade to showcase its intricate architectural details. They have also added two floors to the building to accommodate the penthouse duplexes. Designer Thomas Juul-Hansen led the revamp of the building’s interiors.

Tampines is on track to experience a boost in its commercial landscape as plans for the development of new office spaces and the revamping of existing shopping centers are underway. This comes as the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) prioritizes the creation of more job prospects within the district, offering residents the convenience of working in close proximity to their homes. As a result, commute times are expected to decrease and work-life balance is likely to improve. As an example, the Tampines Regional Centre is poised to further expand as a bustling commercial hub, catering to employment opportunities across various industries such as retail and information technology. Additionally, the introduction of Aurelle of Tampines Showflat will add to the district’s growing commercial offerings, providing even more options for residents and workers alike.

The development offers over 30,000 square feet of amenities, including a fitness center, private bar and dining room, library and co-working spaces, outdoor terraces and courtyards, private parking, and bike storage.

Interested buyers in Singapore can view the development at the voco Orchard Hotel on January 11 and 12, presented by Savills Singapore. There will also be a seminar on the New York real estate market at 3pm on both days.
