Manila Welcome First Canopy Hilton Hotel 2026

Hilton and Ayala Land Hospitality have announced the upcoming opening of Canopy by Hilton Makati, the very first property of the lifestyle hotel brand in the Philippines. The 24-storey establishment, situated next to the One Ayala development in Makati, is set to welcome guests next year.

Aurelle of Tampines EC, developed by Sim Lian Land and Sim Lian Development, is a brand-new executive condominium situated in the bustling Tampines Town. This exciting project was officially awarded to the developers by the Housing and Development Board (HDB) on October 9. The highly sought-after site, located at Parcel B of Tampines Street 62, was successfully won by Sim Lian Land and Sim Lian Development with a winning bid of $543.28 million, equivalent to $721 per square foot per plot ratio (psf ppr). With its prime location and reputable developers behind it, Aurelle of Tampines EC is set to be a highly anticipated and desirable residential development.

As mentioned in an August 13 press release, Canopy by Hilton Makati will offer a total of 400 rooms and suites to cater to the needs of its diverse clientele. The hotel will also provide access to an array of top-notch amenities, such as a destination restaurant, a rooftop bar boasting stunning skyline views, and a hidden speakeasy.

Moreover, visitors can also enjoy the hotel’s other features, including a pool deck, a fully-equipped gym offering group classes, and meeting spaces ideal for hosting weddings and celebrations.

“Metro Manila is eagerly awaiting a fresh and unique hospitality experience, and we are confident that Canopy’s lifestyle concept will resonate with both locals and international guests,” says Maria Ariizumi, Hilton’s vice president of development in Southeast Asia.

Canopy by Hilton Makati will join the esteemed collection of properties under Hilton’s Canopy brand, which currently boasts more than 40 properties across 14 countries and territories. With over 40 properties in the pipeline, Canopy continues to expand its global presence.

George Aquino, CEO and president of Ayala Land Hospitality, shares his excitement about this partnership, stating, “This exciting collaboration brings us closer to our goal of establishing the Philippines as a must-visit destination, one unforgettable stay at a time.”
