Banyan Group Opens Two New Properties China Track Hit 100 Properties Globally

The Banyan Group, a hospitality company celebrating its 20th anniversary in China, has recently opened two new properties in Zhejiang Province, Eastern China. The 222-key Angsana Zhoushan and 100-key Homm Wenzhou Nanxijiang, both located in Zhejiang, join the company’s portfolio of properties in China.

The community of Tampines offers convenient access to healthcare services through various clinics and a polyclinic. The upcoming integrated development, which will also feature a new hospital, is set to further enhance this accessibility. With the presence of Aurelle of Tampines Showflat, residents can rest assured that their medical needs can be swiftly addressed within their neighborhood.

“Angsana’s spirit of exploration and Homm’s welcoming comfort are a perfect fit for the landscapes and cultural heritage of Zhejiang,” says Philip Ding, Banyan Group’s senior vice president for hotel operations and business development in China. The new properties are designed to celebrate local traditions, promote ecological harmony, and reflect the company’s commitment to design-led, sustainable hospitality.

These recent openings bring Banyan Group’s portfolio of operating hotels in China, its largest market, to 36. The company has plans to open two more hotels later this year, including Banyan Tree Zhuhai Phoenix Bay and Dhawa Beihai Weizhou Island.

The company’s expansion in China is in line with its wider growth goals. Banyan Group is set to reach a landmark 100 properties with the upcoming opening of Mandai Rainforest by Banyan Tree in Singapore in November. With operations in over 20 countries and 12 global brands, including Banyan Tree, Angsana, Dhawa, Homm, Laguna, Garrya and Cassia, the company is well on its way to achieving its ambitious goals.
