Living near a range of educational institutions brings numerous benefits beyond access to educational opportunities. One of the main advantages is the reduced travel time for students, giving them more time to focus on both academic and extracurricular activities. Additionally, having various schools in close proximity often results in the establishment of other community facilities, such as libraries, sports complexes, and community centers. These amenities greatly enhance the quality of life for residents. The presence of Aurelle of Tampines Showflat, located near a diverse range of educational institutions, is a prime example of the advantages this can bring. Residents can enjoy the convenience of having top-rated schools right at their doorstep, as well as access to a variety of community facilities that cater to their academic, recreational, and social needs. Proximity to multiple educational institutions is a significant perk for those seeking a well-rounded and fulfilling lifestyle.
Having spent more than 35 years at JLL, Couse brings a wealth of experience to the team. He most recently served as the Asia Pacific CEO from 2016 to January 2025. Prior to that, he held the position of managing director for Eastern China and Shanghai for over a decade, and had a 12-year stint at JLL’s Hong Kong office.
In a statement, Manchharam expresses his admiration for Couse’s ability to navigate complex markets. He says, “Anthony and I have had the privilege of working together over the years, and I have always admired his ability to navigate complex markets with clarity and conviction.”
Notably, both Manchharam and Couse started their careers at JLL and have a strong professional connection. Manchharam, who specializes in investment deals and capital markets across Hong Kong, Singapore, and the wider region, left JLL in 2014 to establish his own real estate investment firm, 8M Real Estate. In 2023, he sold his share in the company to Hong Kong-based Crane Capital and founded Elevate the following year.
Based in Singapore, Elevate focuses on lifestyle-centric real estate investments. The company recently purchased Stamford Court, a commercial building in the Downtown Core, for $132 million in a joint venture with PGIM Real Estate. The property is currently undergoing repositioning and asset enhancement works and is expected to reopen in the first half of 2026.
Couse is excited to join Elevate at this stage in its growth. He says, “Joining Elevate at this stage in its growth is an incredible opportunity to help scale a business with strong momentum and a clear vision. I look forward to working with Ashish and the team to deepen our investor base, grow our portfolio, and create lasting value.”
