He added, “Faber Residence is situated in a rare riverfront and landed enclave in Clementi, close to several established educational institutions and employment hubs, making it appealing to both homeowners and investors.”Some units at Faber Residence will boast riverfront views, while others will enjoy wide landscaped views of the courtyards between blocks. The horizontal distance between blocks has been generously spaced, at a minimum of 20 meters apart, which exceeds the height of the 19-meter buildings.Mohan Sandrasegeran, head of research and data analytics at SRI, said that “GuocoLand’s design for Faber Residence takes the surroundings into careful consideration, incorporating the lush environment of the neighboring landed estate.” Sandrasegeran also noted that earlier new projects in Clementi were high-density developments, citing the 716-unit Whistler Grand on West Coast Vale. “We believe that there will be a strong interest from buyers attracted to the low-rise landed-inspired concept of Faber Residence,” he added.Faber Residence is situated within a one-kilometer radius of Nan Hua Primary School, while other well-known schools and educational institutions in the vicinity include Pei Tong Primary School, Clementi Town Secondary School, Singapore Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, and the National University of Singapore (NUS).The site also boasts excellent connectivity to major business hubs in the area, such as the International Business Park at Jurong Town Hall Road, the one-north precinct, and the upcoming Jurong Lake District (JLD).Read also: Clementi’s Growth Story: The Next Chapter with Faber ResidenceFaber Residence is only a 10-minute walk from the future Jurong Town Hall MRT Station on the Jurong Region Line, which is expected to begin operations in 2028. The development itself is slated for a 2029 completion. Four bus stops away is Clementi MRT Station on the East-West Line, which will become an interchange once the planned Cross Island Line (CRL) is finished in 2030.Residents will have direct access to the Ulu Pandan Park Connector, which runs alongside the Sungei Ulu Pandan and the Clementi Nature Corridor. Other nearby attractions include the Rail Corridor as well as the future Clementi Nature Trail and Old Jurong Line Nature Trail.”Faber Walk is a primarily residential estate home to a mix of landed homes and a considerable number of HDB upgraders from Clementi and other HDB towns in the West,” says Lee Sze Teck, senior director of data analytics at Huttons Asia. Close to Faber Residence is the 1,468-unit Parc Clematis at Jalan Lempeng. The 99-year leasehold project, launched in August 2019 with prices starting from $1,550 psf, is due for completion in 2023. According to EdgeProp Singapore data compiled from caveats, the average price at Parc Clematis is about $2,120 psf.Eugene Lim, key executive officer at ERA Singapore, believes that the size and layout of units at Faber Residence will resonate strongly among owner-occupiers, particularly couples and families with young children who may have parents living in the nearby landed estate.
