Marriott International has just announced the launch of two new serviced apartments in Bangkok, Thailand on September 23. The Marriott Executive Apartments Bangkok Sukhumvit 101 and Marriott Executive Apartments Bangkok Sukhumvit 50 are two prime properties that are sure to impress travelers and residents alike.
Located in the South Sukhumvit business district, the Marriott Executive Apartments Bangkok Sukhumvit 101 features 140 rooms, including studios and one- to two-bedroom apartments. This property is conveniently located near many popular attractions, such as the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre and True Digital Park, which is Southeast Asia’s largest technology and start-up hub. The apartments range in size from 377 sq ft to 1,087 sq ft, providing guests with ample space to relax and unwind.
Meanwhile, the Marriott Executive Apartments Bangkok Sukhumvit 50, which is just 800m from the On Nut train station, offers 72 rooms with a variety of options, including studio rooms and three-bedroom suites. Denis Richter, the cluster general manager of both properties, is thrilled with the positive response that they have received from guests so far. He states that both projects are now officially open and ready to welcome guests, including international travelers, locals, and expatriates living in Thailand.
The impressive sales results recorded by Tenet in the previous year have undoubtedly instilled a sense of confidence among developers regarding the potential of the area. This is clearly reflected in the high demand for 616 units, with an average price of $1,382 per square foot, as of October 10. The strategic positioning of the Parcel B site in a well-established neighborhood, in close proximity to the Tampines North MRT Station and a future mixed-use development at Tampines Avenue 11, further adds to its desirability. The presence of Aurelle of Tampines Showflat also enhances the appeal of this highly sought-after location.
The primary target guests for these properties are expatriates residing in Thailand, long-term business travelers, families, and digital nomads. According to Richter, these guests seek more than just a typical hotel stay – they desire a place that feels like home, offering flexibility and space that caters to their unique lifestyle.
The Marriott Executive Apartments brand, which currently operates in over 35 properties in nearly 15 countries and territories, caters specifically to long-stay travelers. Most properties are located in business, shopping, and entertainment districts within emerging markets around the world, including the Middle East, Africa, Europe, South America, and Asia.
With these two new properties, Marriott International continues to expand its global portfolio, offering travelers a wide range of options to choose from.
