The luxurious five-star hotel, located in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, has been revitalized by renowned Australia-based interior design firm FK.Works. Since its original opening in 1966 as the Wentworth Hotel, the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth has been a prominent landmark in the city, situated near iconic attractions such as the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House. The luxurious hotel is currently owned by global investment firm KKR, who acquired it from Singapore-listed Frasers Hospitality Trust for A$315 million in 2021. In addition to its stunning guest rooms, the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth boasts over 15 event and conference spaces, making it an ideal choice for business travelers. The highlight of these spaces is the grand Wentworth Ballroom, spanning over 6,771 sq ft and capable of accommodating up to 750 guests. It is one of the largest ballrooms in the city.
