In the same period, The Scala and Sims Edge also saw new record highs of $2,064 psf and $1,907 psf respectively. Gallop Gables’ high was from a 2,669 sq ft four-bedroom unit that changed hands for $6.14 million, making a net profit of $1.64 million for the seller. The previous high at the condo was $2,108 psf from the sale of a two-bedroom unit for $2.45 million in Feb 19. Located in District 10, Gallop Gables is a low-density development with 102 units spread across four-storey blocks. The condo has seen three resale transactions this year at an average price of $2,110 psf, higher than the average price of $1,991 psf from four transactions last year. The Scala, a 99-year leasehold condo in District 19, achieved a new psf-price record of $2,064 from the resale of a 1,259 sq ft, four-bedroom unit for $2.6 million. This is the first time the condo has crossed the $2,000 psf mark. Sims Edge, another freehold condo, saw a new record of $1,907 psf from the sale of a 409 sq ft, one-bedroom unit. The seller made a profit of about $116,000, having bought the unit for $663,807 in April 2019. The condo has seen five resale transactions this year at an average price of $1,800 psf, higher than the average price of $1,644 psf from four transactions last year. Sims Edge has 78 units of one- and two-bedroom units ranging from 409 sq ft to 1,195 sq ft. It is within walking distance to the Paya Lebar MRT Interchange Station. Overall, no new psf-price lows were recorded during this period.
