Knight Frank Singapore will be auctioning a three-bedroom unit at Gambier Court, a prestigious boutique condo located along Kim Yam Road in prime District 9 in the River Valley area. The property is scheduled to be auctioned on Dec 12 with a guide price of $2.6 million. This translates to a price of $1,755 per square foot for the unit’s 1,485 square feet floor area.

Records show that the current owner had purchased the unit in October 2018 at $1.8 million, which is equivalent to a price of $1,212 per square foot. This is an owner’s sale and it marks the second time that the unit is going up for auction. Previously, it was listed at Knight Frank Singapore’s auction on Nov 26 with a higher guide price of $2.64 million, which is $1,778 per square foot, but it did not receive any bids.

According to Tricia Tan, director of auction and sales at Knight Frank, the seller is selling the unit to relocate to a home that is closer to their children’s school. The unit will be sold with vacant possession, which makes it an attractive investment opportunity.
