Co-working space provider The Great Room recently opened its second Australian location at One O’Connell Street in partnership with LendLease. This new flexible workspace, spanning 25,360 sq ft across levels 14 and 15 of the office building, is a result of the collaboration between the two companies to create a unique premium product that promises long-term investment and profitability. The building, located in the Sydney CBD, was completed in 1991 and has 36 storeys. The Great Room had earlier launched its first location at level 29 of 85 Castlereagh Street in the Sydney CBD, in Australia earlier this year in partnership with LendLease. The brand, which originated from Singapore, currently has a presence in Singapore, Bangkok, Hong Kong and Sydney, with 12 locations in total. Recently, the company had expanded its footprint in Singapore with the opening of Csuites Powered by The Great Room, its first location outside of the CBD. This new space in Paya Lebar Quarter, which opened in October, is equipped with private manager cabins, soundproof meeting rooms, floor-to-ceiling windows, and ergonomic workstations customised for comfort and convenience. The Great Room not only provides a space for work, but also holds monthly networking sessions and panel discussions for its members. Since its acquisition by New York-based co-working business Industrious in 2022, members of The Great Room now also have access to 160 locations across Asia Pacific, Europe, North America and the UK.
