Hilton Crosses 160 Luxury And Lifestyle Hotels Apac Eyes More Growth

Last month, Motto by Hilton Hong Kong Soho officially opened its doors in the Sheung Wan District. This marks the first Motto brand hotel in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region for Hilton, as the company looks to expand its luxury and lifestyle brands in the area. Recently, Hilton opened its first Waldorf Astoria hotel in Osaka, as well as Secan Hotel Qingdao, a Curio Collection property, in Shandong Province, China. With this latest addition, Hilton now has over 160 hotels operating in APAC under its luxury and lifestyle categories. The company plans to continue expanding its presence in the region in the coming year, with several new properties in the works. Hilton’s president for APAC, Alan Watts, states, “Luxury and lifestyle brands continue to thrive in the Asia Pacific region, and Hilton is proud to lead the way in providing distinctive and experiential accommodations for our guests.” The company expects to increase its portfolio of luxury and lifestyle properties in APAC by 50% in the upcoming years, exceeding 250 hotels in the region.
