Hilton And Ytl Hotels Sign Multiple Property Agreements Strengthening Their Partnership Asia Pacific
Hilton and YTL hotels, a subsidiary of Malaysia’s YTL Corp Bhd, have signed multiple property agreements to expand their presence in Thailand and Japan. The partnership will see the addition of properties under the prestigious LXR Hotels & Resorts and the Tapestry Collection by Hilton brands.
Under the LXR Hotels & Resorts portfolio, the Rawai Phuket and Kasara Niseko Village will now bear the brand’s name. Meanwhile, the Green Leaf Niseko Village will join the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, and the Hinode Hills Niseko Village will become part of the Curio Collection by Hilton.
All three Japanese properties are conversions from existing hospitality assets, and are set to open by the end of the year. The Kasara Niseko Village, previously an eight-villa townhouse, will now operate under the LXR brand, while the Green Leaf Niseko Village, a 200-room hotel, will be rebranded as part of the Tapestry Collection.
Located at the base of Mount Annupuri, within Niseko Village Ski Resort, these properties offer easy access to the area’s renowned ski slopes. This makes them an attractive choice for adventure seekers and luxury travelers alike.
Meanwhile, the Rawai Phuket, a 275-room hotel, will be situated at the southernmost tip of Phuket and boast a private beachfront. In addition to offering guests a stunning beachside experience, the hotel will also serve as a gateway to nearby islands, further solidifying Hilton’s presence in Thailand’s luxury market.
With the addition of the Rawai Phuket and Kasara Niseko Village, the LXR Hotels & Resorts brand will now have nearly 20 properties in its global portfolio. These properties embody the brand’s focus on adventure and offer guests a personalized and luxurious experience.
The Green Leaf Niseko Village, on the other hand, will become part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, which currently consists of over 170 hotels worldwide. The brand emphasizes a blend of local cuisine and vibrant design, making it a perfect fit for the unique location of Niseko Village.
Hinode Hills Niseko Village will join the Curio Collection by Hilton, which boasts 180 properties globally. The brand is known for its distinctive, upscale architecture, highlighting the unique story behind each property.
