Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, the luxury brand’s first property in Malaysia, officially opens its doors today [August 7]. Located on floors 75 to 114 of the new Merdeka 118 skyscraper, the hotel is also the 50th Park Hyatt property globally, as announced by Hyatt’s Asia Pacific group president, David Udell.

General manager Herman Kemp notes the historical significance of the new Merdeka 118 precinct and its proximity to Petaling Street Chinatown. With the opening of Park Hyatt KL, the renowned luxury brand is making its debut in Malaysia, bringing its renowned hospitality and unparalleled service to the vibrant city.
